Dog’s Truly can be helpful in more then one occasion, they are rescue dogs, investigative dogs, and just simply loving pets. Dog’s can make a big difference in life, so why not treat them as fair and without judgement as they do you?

It is interesting to recognize, how a cat can understand and pay attention to what is being said and how it is being said, in example just the other day I was reading to our cat Mona, from Paulo Coelho’s – The Winner Stands Alone: A Novel, as she was resting and I was watching them. It was one of those rare occasions, those perfect days when all was silent around and just her and I relaxed there enjoying the moment that I decided to read.

To observe how she listened so intently and did not try to run off or go somewhere else instead she chose to sit there and take it all in. It got me to thinking about how smart cat’s truly are, as there mind is like a database always growing always remembering, nearly every experience he/she has had resides there in her mind for the 20 years of her life.

(More On Pets @ knatdecat.wordpress.com)

To realize that even a pet, an animal is a sentient being, who is always learning throughout the preferably long years of her life, when well taken care of and in a better situation then some of the others who try to survive outside in the cold, harsh world, the paradise that has been paved, bringing car and people onto what used to be hunting grounds for her ancestors. At least as we people have adapted so has domesticated cats from an ideal hunter in a harsh environment to a pet who loves without condition but still has the ability to be the hunter her ancestors were.

In reading and educating yourself as well as educating your pet you build up a deeper bond then only those times where there is no talk just love, petting and hugging, but why not educate her as well, help your cat understand about the world around her. Since it is usually best to read a book out loud anyhow as often that is how the writer had put it together to hear it out loud is to notice more of what may be off even a little bit.

Similar to how a child – will listen depending on the tone of your voice it does not matter what you are reading, but she is hearing she is analyzing as best as a kitten’s mind can, as the tone was kept balanced she seemed more interested in each passing sentence, and each completed paragraph. It was remarkable to see how she just listened and followed the tone.

The Chihuahua from Taco Bells ad campaign passed away Tuesday, and even if it was only a small part of the media frenzy she did make a mark, in solidifying her in position to be a star.

LOS ANGELES — Gidget the Chihuahua, the bug-eyed, big-eared star of 1990s Taco Bell commercials who was a diva on and off the screen, has died. She was 15. Gidget suffered a massive stroke late Tuesday night at her trainer’s home in Santa Clarita and had to be euthanized, said Karin McElhatton, owner of Studio Animal Services in Castaic, which owned the dog.

via Sun News

Do you remember the dog from the Taco Bell Commercials? Even if that dog had been long retired, from the center stage, that came from a pound simply because she was not what was considered a proper chihuahua, her design was wholly unique and her attitude similarly so. She even went so far as to play a male dog, and in that an accomplishment of a sort that only a true actor can grasp, to become what you are not for the sake of the screen and what they want you to be.

Honestly I faintly remember her, only the Phrase “Yo Quiero Taco Bell”, is really the only thing, as I did not pay to close attention to commercials as I have long been more of a reader then a watcher. Being that the case I felt an entry was warranted as she did have an effect. To go from a pound to a home to become a star is no small accomplishment even if it was partly her trainer and the rest in her personality. Surely she will be remembered, until the next Trending Topic flows by and perhaps then she will be forgotten, for now may she rest in peace.
